Berkmar (GA) and Southern Stampede guard Al Durham is quickly becoming one of the more sought-after players in the class of 2017. The 6-foot-3 guard has been on a busy visit tour prior to school starting in the Peach State.
Durham was recently on the campuses of South Florida and Florida for a pair of unofficial visits. He started his trip at USF.
“I loved it,” Durham said. “(It is a) great atmosphere and great coaching staff. I was glad I took the trip down to see the school.”
From there, he and his father jumped on Interstate 75 and travelled north to see the University of Florida. The goal was to take some trips to schools that are close by, he said.
To date, Durham said he has been to Clemson, Georgia, GT, Indiana and Kansas. Durham added he is holding offers from South Florida, Virginia Tech, Houston, Miami, Indiana, Rhode Island and Louisiana Tech.
Durham is currently one of the top 15 players in Georgia’s loaded 2017 class.
